Velle is the recently released Hindi film in theaters on December 10, 2021 and later it was released on OTT platform Amazon Prime on January 7, 2022. The screentime of this comedy film is around 2 hours 4 minutes.
Story: The movie story is revolved around Karan Deol aka Rahul, Visshesh Tiwari aka Raju, Savant Singh Premi aka Rambo. All these three are friends and studies in a school. One fine day, the trio met Anya Singh aka Riya who is also a school student. Now, the four of them have chalked out a plan to kidnap Riya and asks a big money from his father Zakhir Hussain. Riya needed this money to get an admission in a dance school which his father wasn’t ready for it. What if this self-planned kidnapping goes wrong is what this story is all about. There is another parallel story runs in this film where Abhay Deol aka Rishi Singh, who is a film story writer, fall in love for a famous actress Mouni Roy aka Rohini. Well, Rahul and Rishi has a connection in this story as well which you will know only at the end. This film also stars Mahesh Thakur, Rajesh Kumar, Solanki Diwakar and many others.

The reviews of Velle movie wasn’t up to the mark and they are in a range of 1.5 to 2 stars out of 5 stars. This film also holds 7.6 stars ratings out of 10 stars on IMDB.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: Velle is one of those Bollywood films that doesn’t go anywhere. Though, it has been termed as a comedy film but in most of scenes you feel like tortured. The dialogue delivery of Karan Deol wasn’t up to the mark and he made his character more clumsy. Though, we have huge hope from him after Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas but he didn’t surprise us even for a minute. Even the 2 hours movie seems pretty long for us due to pathetic and amateurish writing. Only, the last 30 minutes have made some sense to us and that’s where we see something that really feel like interesting. Such movies should have been written well and even performed well. I can’t blame Karan totally for it but he should go for more action films, just like his father. Comedy is the most difficult thing to do and that’s where he lacks so much. Though, a sincere effort from Karan and his gang members. I am surprised to see Anya Singh, she seems convincing. The movie should have made an impact but here everything is forgettable. We simply suggest that the makers and even actors should rework on their strength and weakness and come up again with a good film. You are making a film for the cinema theaters audience and that should has something in it or they would only watch your films on OTT platforms. The music and songs are forgettable too. Abhay Deol and Mouni Roy both couldn’t save this snarling film. Badly written and executed project which has totally misfired.
Velle has been directed by Deven Munjal. It have been writte by Harish Dinkar and Pankaj Matta. The musical score has been given by Yug Bhusal, Rochak Kohli and Sohail Sen. The cinematography done by Anshul Chobey and the editing work taken care by Dharmendra Sharma. Abhishek Nama, Nandini Sharma, Suniel S. Saini are the producers.
Velle movie budget hasn’t been revealed by the makers but it could reportedly be around 7 to 8 crores maximum. This film has reportedly collected around 3 to 4 crores maximum.
Altogether, Velle is one of those films that you can skip forever. Nothing is there to entertain you, not the story or neither the performance.
Last Word: Not to make a movie just for the sake of it. Only, Abhay Deol is the one whom I enjoyed it for his earnest performance.
