Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The film takes time to build it’s base but you get in to the film in the first few minutes. The story is so interesting that the first half ends quite well with some emotional scenes. Its the second half that is filled with zest and fervour. The second half full of emotional moments and adrenaline moment. The historic innings of Kapil Dev of 175 not out against Zimbabwe was one of the major highlights of this film. The background music adds much value to this film. The songs are pretty well placed in this story. The screenplay seems some issues in the first half but that is only for few minutes. Rest of the film, flows well and there are many goosebumps moments into it. The editing work is quite ok and we don’t feel any dull moments on it. Talking about performance, Ranveer Singh has stole the show with his dialect and performance. Kabir Singh direction is up to the mark and it’s his best after Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015). The casting is best and it really feels we are actually witnessing the history once again on screens. The production value is good and the makers have spent lot of money to make this film as authentic as possible. I think the makers have made an excellent film altogether.
