Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is one of the busiest actors right now and he started the year with a bang by starting of with a new film titled as Selfiee.

In 2021, Akshay Kumar has reportedly become a part of a Hindi remake of Malayalam film Driving Licence (2019). And now it has been officially confirmed that Akshay is actually doing this film if we go by his latest post on social media. Akshay went on to wrote, “Kick-starting my day with a #Selfiee! Sparkles Because why not?”

As per the reports, Raj Mehta has been confirmed to direct this Selfiee movie for Akshay for giving a big hit like Good Newwz in 2019. Driving Licence is a Malayalam film featuring Suraj Venjaramoodu as Cop, Prithviraj Sukumaran as Superstar. In this Hindi remake, Emraan Hashmi has been planned to play the Cop role in this Hindi version of the film.

Akshay Kumar expected to wrap up this film in less than 2 months by the end of February 2022. There are no hints yet about the actress in this film as it is largely focused on two main leads. Selfie movie expected to release by the end of 2022.

Apart from this, Akshay Kumar has many other films in the pipeline for 2022 including Gorkha, a film with Tiger Shroff tentatively titled as Bade Miyaan Chote Miyaan and few others.
