The Kashmir Files Review, Box Office Result, Hit Or Flop In Theaters?

The Kashmir Files movie has been officially released in cinema theaters on March 11, 2022. The screentime of this realistic film based on Kashmir Hindu Pandit genocide of 1990 is around 2 hours 50 minutes.

Story: In 1990, around 5 lakhs Kashmir Pandits have been told to leave Kashmir valley else they would die. In the history of Independence India, this is one of the biggest human genocide by Islamic gangs. This film shows the ordeal of Kashmiri Pandits who still not been properly relocated in the Kashmir Valley. This film also talks about the abolition of Article 370 which is one of the reasons of Kashmir Pandits troubles in the 90s. This film questions about the Kashmiri people freedom and the relocation of Kashmiri Pandits back to the valley again. This film features Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi, Chinmay Mandlekar, Prakash Belawadi, Puneet Issar and many others.

The early reviews of The Kashmir Files is out now and they are in a range of 4 to 4.5 stars out of 5 stars. This film currently holds 9.9 stars out of 10 stars on IMDB by 69K users.

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: This film focuses on Kashmiri Pandits genocide of 1990 where half a million people had to leave their valley by the Islamic gangs. Many of the Kashmiri Pandits had been shot dead, tortured and raped. Even after 31 long years, many Kashmiri Pandits still not able to get back to Kashmir valley where they or their parents once lived. This film questions about various issues of Kashmir and their people. This film also points finger on Indian media about how they portray Kashmir and its people. There are alot of things that you must watch in this film. The story has been well written and presented in the most realistic way on the screen. Director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has opened one of the most sensitive issues that hardly been told or featured in India. The filmmaker has really touched the heart of Indian people. The dialogues are the highlight of this film and you can feel the pain in each word. The cinematography is brilliant and it adds much meaning to this already strong story. The background music suits to the screenplay as well. The Kashmiri people culture can also be easily seen in the visuals and dialogues of this film. I am impressed to see the use of local Kashmiri language in this film which makes this film emotional and authentic. Though the screen time is almost around 3 hours but it’s worth your time.

The Kashmir Files movie has been co-written and directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri. This film also written by Saurabh M Pandey. It have been produced by Tej Narayan Agarwal, Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi and Vivek Agnihotri. The cinematography has been done by Udaysingh Mohite and the editing work helmed by Shankh Rajadhyaksha. The musical score has been given by Rohit Sharma.

The Kashmir Files movie budget hasn’t been revealed by the makers but it could be reportedly around 13 to 15 crores maximum.

Altogether, The Kashmir Files is one of those films that should be watched by every Indians and cine lovers.
