Tom Holland, spiderman fame, has given a good performance in a film titled as The Devil All The Time. This film has universally released on September 16, 2020 on OTT platform Netflix. Right from its release, this film is receiving good to average reviews from critics.

Rotten Tomatoes rated it 68 percent out of 100. Metacritic gave it 55 percent rating. IMDB has given 7.3 stars out of 10 on its website. 94 percent Google users have so far liked this movie.
Based on Donald Ray Pollock of the same name, this film has its own positive and negative points. I personally felt that that screen time is much bigger than expected which is 2 hours 19 minutes. Every character shown in this movie is either cynical or highly devotional into God.
Apart from Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson also played a strong role as a Father of a church. The main hero Tom enters the film on 46th minute whereas after few minutes Robert dives in. The film has majorly set in 1957 and talks about some gruesome crime happened somewhere in West Virginia.
The Devil All The Time production design is excellent. The story is good but the presentation that is its screenplay is not up to the mark. This film could have been 20 minutes shorter. At first, the film keeps you at the edge of the seat but it looses its grip after midway.
The makers didn’t revealed its budget but it would be reportedly around 500 to 600 crores easily. This film will be a one time watch but not for all kind of audience. This film could have earned better it if released in theaters rather than OTT. Currently, by looking at the reviews from critics and audience, it can be termed as an above average film.
