One of the biggest change in the Indian web series industry came in India in 2018, when Sacred Games turned out to be a sleeper hit. It starred Saif Ali Khan as Sartaj Singh and Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Ganesh Gaitonde. All the characters of this web series is still famous in everyone’s mind. And, to make the second season even more popular, the makers has spent as much as 100 crores to give a grand scale feel to this second season of Sacred Games web series.

Sacred Games season 1 had 8 episodes and this season is also similar to that. The first season was directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap. And the season 2 has been helmed by Neeraj Ghaywan and Anurag Kashyap.

According to a source close to the show said, “Revealing the details, an industry insider says that while usually each episode of an original could cost between Rs. 3- 4 cr with a total budget around the vicinity of Rs. 50 cr, Netflix has gone above and beyond for season 2.”

The second season will have actors like Pankaj Tripathi as Guruji,, Surveen Chawla as Jojo, Kalki Koechlin as Batya, Ranvir Shorey as Shahid Khan and Luke Kenny as Malcolm and many others.

Sacred Games Season 2 will be available on Netflix From August 15 at 12 am midnight
