Phone Bhoot movie has been officially released in silver screens on November 4, 2022. The screen time of this horror drama film is around 2 hours 17 minutes.
Story: The story of this film revolves around two childhood friends Siddhant Chaturvedi aka Major and Ishaan Khatter aka Gullu. The two friends are avid horror film lovers. They want to open a business to capture ghosts? They both can see real ghosts too. Well, Katrina Kaif aka Ragini is a ghost who propose a business plan to the duo to become ghost busters. Now, due to money problem, Major and Gullu starts his company Phone Bhoot with Ragini. The only villain in this film is Jackie Shroff aka Atmaram. So, Atmaram captures Ghosts but don’t free them by giving Moksh. Will, Major, Gullu and Ragini beat Atmaram in his own game is what you need to watch out.
This film also features Sheeba Chadha, Nidhi Bisht, Manu Rishi Chadha, Kedar Shankar and many others.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story concept of this film is good but the execution is bad. The first half is good to some extent but is the second half that is too weak. This film is being neither for kids, nor for adults. Talking about the performance, only Katrina Kaif performs somewhat good but rest are just unbearable. There are some oneliners dialogues which are good, rest the film is just not up to the mark. Few creative liberties have been taken by the director, especially the Katrina Kaif mango add promo, which works for me. The overacting by the duo has spoiled the film for me. Even, Jackie Shroff negative shade role is pathetic and leaves no impact. The screenplay is weak or it would have work wonders. The background music is ok but it could have been better. There is hardly any retention value to this film and the second half is just unbearable to watch. It is one of the worst films of 2022 in Bollywood.

The cinematography has been done by K U Mohanan. It has been edited by Manan Ashwin Mehta. The musical score has been given by Tanishk Bagchi, Rochak Kohli, Roy and Mikey McCleary.
Phone Bhoot movie budget hasn’t been revealed yet by the makers but it could reportedly being around 38 to 40 crores.
Altogether, Phone Bhoot is not a worth watch film and better not to spend your hard earned money for this film and search for other film alternatives.
Last Word: Watch it only for Katrina Kaif beauty rest nothing is there in this movie.
