Story: The story of this film revolves around Ashok Kumar aka Homi Mistry, whose wife is dead and he is survived by four kids. Now, he had to cook meal for his kids and even go for the job. He thinks that he should get married again so that he don’t have so much burden on his shoulder. David Abraham aka Soli who is a friend of Homi comes with a proposal that he should get married again with a lady Pearl Padamsee aka Nargis Sethna, whose husband is also dead and she is survived by three kids. Now, Homi and Nargis met and decided to marry eachother. Well after the marriage, Homi shifts with his family into Nargis’s bungalow. Well, the kids from both the sides are not at all accepting this new marriage and the new brother and sisters. What happens next is something interesting and you must watch it.

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: Khatta Meetha movie is ahead of its time and it surprises me with its interesting story. The song Thoda Hai Thode Ki Zarurat Hai is very much the soul of the film, which means that whatever we have, we need to adjust in that and be happy. The film is so simple and meaningful that it only gives you emotions of joy and laughter. There is a scene where Homi and Nargis sitting together and talking about their monthly expenses, which is very relatable. The part of Rakesh Roshan and Bindiya Goswami love story look beautiful. Here’s Pradeep Kumar’s negative shade character is the only villainous thing in this film, rest it has only good things in the movie. Also, this is one of the rare Bollywood films where Parsi family story has been shown from start to end. The smile of Nargis, the menace of Raju Shrestha in this film will never be forgotten. It is overall a film that will teach everyone the importance of a family. The music of this is good and all the songs are pleasing to the ears. The cinematography is decent and the editing is absolutely ok. The direction is up to the mark and there is hardly any scenes which will spoil your mood. It’s a perfect family film.
