Zombivli is a Marathi film which has officially released in theaters on January 26, 2022. The story of this comedy horror film is around 2 hours 14 minutes.
Story: The story of this film revolves around Dombivli area, which is located near Mumbai. Amey Wagh aka Sudhir Joshi works in a mineral water company in Dombivli, where people have water problems in the local area. On the other hand, a local goon Lalit Prabhakar aka Vishwas aka Jaggu along with local people fights against the mineral water company, claiming due to them, their area is having water shortage. In this scenario, the public of local area Janta Nagar of Dombivli are showing weird symptoms and they are now turning to be zombies. Meanwhile, one night Sudhir is being attacked by a Zombie and Vishwas saves his life. Sudhir felt that Vishwas is not saving his life but troubling him. So, on the complaint of Sudhir, Vishwas gets into Police Station custody. Now, Zombies attack gets into peak in Zombivli and even few zombies get into Police Station. Well, now Sudhir, his wife, Vishwas and few other gets together in a car and wants to get away from zombie attack. Will, they survive the zombiemania is what this story is all about.
This movie also stars Vaidehi Parshurami, Trupti Khamkar and many others in key roles.

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: Zombivli is a well made zombie horror film and is technically very strong. The musical score is the biggest plus point of this movie. Such a genre Zombie Horror hasn’t been explored in India well and especially in Marathi film Industry. Apart from that, the film is nicely written and the casting is even brilliant. The actors like Lalit and Amey really lived up to the character. The horror comedy feel of this movie has been kept throughout from start to end. There is hardly one song in this film, rest is just extraordinary visuals. The production value of this film is equally good and it feels like you are actually watching a Hollywood horror film. The makeup of zombies are quite real and they look really scary. The first half of this film is really good but the half is a bit slow in the middle, rest it’s good. The climax of this film has ended on a high note, which makes the film impactive. The cinematography is decent and the editing is also ok. In sort, it’s a perfect zombie horror film for the Marathi audience.

The cinematography of this film has been done by Lawrence Alex Dcunha and the musical score has been given by A V Prafullchandra. The editing work has been done by Jayant Jathar. Zombivli movie budget hasn’t been revealed by the makers but it could be reportedly around 8 to 10 crores maximum.
