Human is the latest web series which has released on OTT platform DisneyPlus Hotstar on January 14, 2022. The total screen time of this series is around 7 hours 33 minutes. There are a total of 10 episodes and each having a watch time of around 40 to 45 minutes.
Story: The story of this series revolves around Shefali Shah aka Dr. Gauri Nath who runs a Medical Hospital in Bhopal. Kirti Kulhari aka Dr. Saira Sabarwal joins her hospital and she wants to be live Gauri. Saira is an excellent doctor which isn’t liked by few other doctors. On the other hand, Gauri and Saira stars getting closer both on professional and personal front. Saira suspect that a new drug is unethically being tested on human which took the life of few people. Saira even finds that Gauri is behind this new drug trial with the help of few others. Will, Saira able to bring the truth in front of the media or will she save her job is important to know in this series. In spite of these two leading ladies, we have Vishal Jethwa aka Mangu, whose mother lost her life due to drug trial and now his son wants to take her revenge. Another strong character here is, Seema Biswas aka Roma who has shocked us with her draconian type role. Riddhi Kumar aka Deepali is one of those girls on whom drug trials are being conducted. Other important roles here are played by Mohan Agashe, Aditya Srivastav, Ram Kapoor, Indraneil Sengupta, Aasif Khan, Sushil Pandey and many others.

Human series early reviews are out and they are pretty positive in a range of 3.5 to 4 stars out of 5 stars. This series currently holds 8.7 stars ratings out of 10 stars on IMDB.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: It’s a well written story but the screenplay is a bit slow. The series could have been cut shorted for another 30 minutes, as you feel that it is being stretched to the extent after watching few episodes. The performance of Shefali, Kirti, Vishal, Seema Biswas, Riddhi are excellent. The performance of Shefali was of another level and she should get some award for her performance. After watching her role as Gauri Nath, I felt that she bring the character alive with her extremely difficult and important role. The background music of this series has also added meaning to the story. The directors have to be praised for bringing this medical thriller in an apt way. The cinematography is good and some scenes are visually intense. The story and performance have made a strong impact on us. It is a rare kind of medical thriller which should be binge watch as soon as possible. It’s a slow burner but seems like end abruptly. The heart of this series is at the right place and that’s why you will feel connected with the characters.
This series have been directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Mozez Singh. It have been written by Ishani Banerjee, Arjun Bhandegaonkar, Aasif Moyal, Stuti Nair, Darshan Prakaash, Abhishek Pandey and Mozez Singh. The cinematography has been done by Sirsha Ray and the editing work handled by Zubin Sheikh. The background music has been given by Saurabh Bhalerao.
Human web series budget hasn’t been revealed by the makers but it could reportedly being around 8 to 10 crores maximum.
Altogether, Human is one of those rare web series that will talk about the ugly side of the medical field to the mainstream audience.
