Jaadugar movie is the latest Hindi film which has officially released on OTT platform Netflix on July 15, 2022. The screen time of this sports romance based drama is around 2 hours 47 minutes.
Story: The story of this film is located in a Neemuch town in Madhya Pradesh. So, the story is based on the life of Jitendra Kumar aka Meenu who wants to be a magician since childhood but his father has some other plans for him. Though his parents died but his father was a football player and wants his son to win the local football tournament. Well, Meenu had a childhood crush but that didn’t last long. Well, Meenu’s Uncle Javed Jaffrey has nurturned him since the childhood after his parents died in an accident. Soon we see, Meenu falls in love with new girl in the town Arushi Sharma aka Disha who is a eye-specialist doctor. Meenu, who didn’t take life too seriously wants to marry Disha anyhow but her father Manoj Joshi put a condition on him. He goes on to say that, You can only marry my daughter if your team get into the finals of the local football tournament. Will, Meenu win over all is what you need to watch in this film.

The early reviews of Jaadugar movie is out and they are in a range of 2 to 2.5 stars out of 5 stars. This film currently holds 8 stars ratings out of 10 on IMDB.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: I Feel Jaadugar has planned to mix sports, magic and romance together but that didn’t blended well. The story is good but I feel the execution which is screenplay is too slow that you seems to be watching two films in one. The movie has many twists and turns and you could even break it in few parts and termed as web series. The dialogues are relatable and there are many new elements in this film that is often missing in mainstream films. As the film is located in a small town and so we can see many things that only happens in small towns. Though, I connected with the film emotionally but yes there are few flaws that we can’t forget to bring up for you. The editing work could have been better and such films shouldn’t exceed the length of 2 hours. Talking about performances, Jeetendra has done good job along with Javed. My favourite scene is the one, when there is a verbal fight between Jeetendra and Javed in one of the scenes, where I liked the latter performance. Another scene i liked when Meenu performs magic tricks in front of Disha’s house. Arushi has done her job really well and I really liked her role. The characters in the football team were really unique and it looked believable. But this movie celebrates the failure more than the success in the end which is a good thing to take a lesson with you. The music is ok and the production value is just decent. Even after few flaws, Jaadugar movie will stay with you for a longer duration as it is emotional and touch your heart. Still I feel that, the movie looses its plot in the middle and stretched more than the expected time.
Jaadugar movie budget hasn’t been revealed yet but it could be around 3 to 4 crores maximum.
Directed by Sameer Saxena, this film has been written by Biswapati Sarkar. It have been produced by Saurabh Khanna, Amit Golani and Sameer Saxena. The cinematography work has been done by Soumik Mukherjee and the editing work handled by Dev Rao Jadhav. The musical score given by Nilotpal Bora.
Altogether, Jaadugar is a decent film that you can easily watch once and can take many good things with you.
Last Word: Watch it for Jitendra, and Arushi Sharma. This film fails to give adrenaline rush which could have saved the film I feel!
