Fat To Fit Journey Of Choreographer Ganesh Acharya Who Lost 85 Kgs

Following the lines of Bollywood singer Adnan Sami, ace choreographer Ganesh Acharya has shed almost 85 kgs weight and now looks totally different. There has not been any surgery behind it but he has extensively worked out for 18 months to loose oodles of weight.

Talking to a leading website, Ganesh Acharya said, “It was tough for me. I have been working on my body for the past one-and-a-half years. I had even put on 30-40 kg for my film Hey Bro and my weight had then touched 200 kg.”


Talking about his different avatar in real life, he said, “I had to do this. I had this determination that, I just have to do this. People have only seen the fat Ganesh Acharya, that’s why I wanted to change the image.”


This is not all, Ganesh Acharya is all set to surprise everyone with his weight loss journey framed in a video which he will launch on Youtube.He further added, “The energy in his dance has doubled.”


Talking about his career as a choreographer, he has won not only Filmfare awards but also National Awards. He is the one who is behind the dancing moves of Govinda in the 90s and early 2000. He is very senior and extremely talented. Some of his best songs are Maston Ka Jhund, Beedi Jalaile, Malhari, Tattad Tattad and Chikni Chameli.

Apart from being a choreographer, he has tried his hands in direction. He has movies to his credit like Swami, Money Hai Toh Honey Hai, Angel, and Marathi film Bikhari.His latest Bikhari movie stars Swapnil Joshi, Rucha Inamdar and Sayaji Shinde in titular roles.



Altogether, Ganesh Acharya has surprised millions of his movie fans. Once again it has been proved that impossible is nothing if you try it the hard way.
