Well, we always expect big films to get released directly in Theaters as we love to watch movies on silver screens. Though, last few years, we seen that many films directly release on OTT platform and this trend also continues in Hindi films. Akshay Kumar, surprised everyone when Laxmmi hit OTT platform in 2020. Last year, we saw Atrangi Re released directly on OTT. Now, Akshay’s fourth film of 2022 has took an OTT route by releasing on Disney Plus Hotstar on August 2, 2022.

Well, we all know that fans and public are always curious to know about the budget and the collections the film does in theaters. In OTT, the collections are not the case and the best we can get is the views count of a particular film. So, what if a film like Cuttputlli got released in theaters what could have been the case than? So here we are exploring Akshay Kumar’s Cuttputlli box office potential if it had ever released in theaters.

Cuttputlli movie budget is reportedly around 38 to 40 crores maximum and it has been shot in less than 2 months time frame. On the other hand, Cuttputlli could have got around 1800 to 2000 screens in India and 700 plus screens in overseas market.

Well, Cuttputlli on the first day could have easily collected around 7 to 8 crores in theaters. In the first three days, the word of mouth could have played a big role and this film could earn around 20 to 21 crores. The first week of Cuttputlli could have been somewhere 31 to 32 crores. Cuttputlli lifetime collection could have been around 41 to 42 crores with good reviews and word of mouth. In worst case scenario, Cuttputlli could have earned around 28 to 30 crores.

Altogether, Cuttputlli could have been another flop film from Akshay Kumar it if it had released in cinema theaters.
