Brahmastra movie has officially started its advance booking across India in Hindi, Kannnada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam versions. The screen time is not yet out but it could surely be around 150 minutes. This film currently has 241K interest rate on Bookmyshow and it can even touch to 500K interest rate during the time of its release.

As per current update, PVR Theatre chain have sold atleast 10K ticket from Friday till Sunday as soon as the online windows open. Even many Trade Analyst from Mumbai confirms solid opening of Brahmastra after KGF Chapter 2 and other movies in Hindi market.

Brahmastra promotional event happened on September 2 in Hyderabad, where it was confirmed by the makers that this film is being releasing in 5000 plus screens in India and 3000 plus screens in overseas. This is by far the widest release of an Indian film post-pandemic, especially outside India.

Now talking about the Mumbai advance booking status, 2D shows has opened only in Jio Drive-In Theatre, PVR, Jio World Drive from September 9 onwards. The 3D version of Brahmastra shows have been opened in 50 plus theatres in Mumbai with multiple shows which start as early as 8 am and goes out till 11.30 pm night. The basic ticket price of Brahmastra 3D version in Mumbai is around 200 rupees in Morning and goes out till 700 to 800 rupees in night. This is a costly affair and a rise of 30 to 40% in tickets as compare to his last film Shamshera (2022). I must also say that, 5 theaters in Mumbai also opened IMAX 3D versions and their tickets are selling like hot cakes. Almost 50 to 60 percent tickets sold out of the first IMAX 3D shows in Mumbai and that’s a rare feat. In Delhi, 4 theatres are showing almost 75 to 80 percent ticket booking response of first show of IMAX versions.

In Delhi, 2D version are still not open just like Mumbai. Well, 3D versions is Delhi are so good that it reminds me of the pre-covid days. 5 shows in Delhi: PVR Director`s Cut, Ambience Mall has been allotted to Brahmastra. Well, out of 5 shows 4.30 shows are sold out where ticket price is as high as 1200 rupees. Well, that’s not all, 8 pm show of Brahmastra is 90 percent sold out, where ticket price is Rs. 2000. This is just the start of advance booking in India, just wait and see the fever this film brings on September 9. Well, 70 plus theaters have given 3D shows to Brahmastra and they are all in the fast filling mode. Here, early morning shows starts at 9 am and goes out till 11 pm in night. The average ticket price in Delhi starts at 250 rupees for 3D and goes out over 700 to 800 rupees in night. The advance booking in Delhi is just a step ahead as compare to Mumbai.

Well, I haven’t see such a craze like I see for Brahmastra in South Market. In Hyderabad, over 25 theaters have allotted multiple shows to this film and nearly 40 to 45 percent shows are almost sold out in the town and that too in Hindi version with an average ticket price is over 250 rupees in the morning shows. In Telugu 3D version, only one theatre has opened its screens. In Chennai, only 12 theaters have opened 3D Hindi version shows and almost 50 percent shows are housefull with in a day. Though, the average ticket price in Chennai is 93.73 rupees and it goes out till 232.84 rupees. So, this is a best opportunity for the local people and they are cashing in handsomely by booking up the tickets.

Well, I didn’t thought that this will happen anytime soon that a Hindi film Brahmastra will open much better way in South States as compare to Hindi belt. Yes, its reality now and that is only because a big gilm like Brahmastra.

Not to forget that, Junior NTR yesterday says on Brahmastra Event in Hyderabad, that audience expect big films from Indian filmmakers and we have to come together and give them the big films just like Brahmastra. So, it seems like Brahmastra is one such films that will destroy the trend of BoycottBollywood forever.

Other Hindi belts like, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and other cities have opened limited theaters so far and the advance booking is also on the lower side.

As per the current trend, Brahmastra will take the biggest advance booking of 2022 in Hindi film industry and may cross 35 crores plus collections on day 1 as well.
