Story: The story of this film revolves around twin brothers who are seperated by birth. So, there is two Roy played by Ranveer Singh and two Joy played by Varun Sharma in this film. So, the joy who lives in Ooty is the performer of Cirkus who has the ability to touch high voltage wires without any fear. When Joy holds current wires at the same time, another Joy who leaves in Bengaluru feels the same. So, Joy from Otty is married to Pooja Hegde aka Mala, another joy is dating Jacqueline Fernandez aka Bindu. So, what happens when both Roy and Joy met their twins after 25 years. This led to a series of funny incidents that you should watch in this movie.

This film also stars a lot of actors like Johnny Liver, Sanjay Mishra, Siddhartha Jadhav, Mukesh Tiwari, Murali Sharma and many others.

The early reviews of Cirkus movie is extremely negative and its audience occupancy is pretty low in the morning across India.

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story is so weak and outdated. Even, the dialogues are forgettable in this movie. The cinematography is pretty good when it comes to showing the beauty of Ooty. Even, the production value of this film is up to the mark. Rest of the things in this movie is better not to talk. The songs are just like fillers as it didn’t add much value to the film. The only song that is watchable is Current Laga Re featuring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer. The bgm is passable. The screenplay is confusing that you don’t know who is who after 30 minutes into the movie. As a director, Rohit brings all the glossy characters in this film but none of them worked except Sanjay Mishra and Siddhartha. Most importantly, the film is not laughable at all and it make you feel that it is more of a torture of over 2 hours. Nothing worked for the film, neither the concept nor the story. The message of this film was a strong one but the makers totally failed to convey it. Johnny Lever has been totally wasted in this movie. The editing is ok but it could have been far better as it seems confusing. In terms of performance, you don’t find anyone worthy except Sanjay Mishra. It is like wastage of 2 years into this film which has no soul in it. You can easily skip it for other better movies releasing this Friday. Golmaal twist at the end will excite you for a moment.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, this film have been written by Farhad Samji, Sanchit Bedre, Vidhi Ghodgaonkar. The screenplay has been done by Yunus Sajawal. It have been produced by Rohit Shetty and Bhushan Kumar. The cinematography has been done by Jomon T John. The editing has been done by Bunty Nagi. The musical score have been given by Devi Sri Prasad, Badshah, LijoGeorge-DJChetas.

Cirkus movie budget hasn’t been revealed yet by the makers but it could reportedly being around 98 to 100 crores maximum.

Altogether, it is one of the weakest Rohit Shetty film who fails to entertain this time. Better luck next time with Singham and Golmaal series.

Last Word: Don’t watch it, save your money and time for some better film. Only Sanjay Mishra is the saving grace of this film to some extent.

Bollywood Crazies Ratings: Cirkus Review- (Fail) 20 percent out of 100.
