Bhuj The Pride Of India is the latest Hindi film which released on OTT Platform Disney Plus Hotstar on August 13, 2021 at around 5.30 pm. The screen time of this war drama is around 1 hour 53 minutes.

The story of this film revolves around India Vs Pakistan War of 1971. In that war, IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik did a nearly impossible task by reconstructing the Indian Air Force airbase of Bhuj with the help of Bhuj Airport in charge and 300 plus nearby villagers, mainly women.

The film story starts from December 7, 1971, where Pakistani army wants to infiltrate in India’s west side of Kutch and destroy Bhuj Air Base as most Indian army men were busy fighting on the west side for East Pakistan. Those who don’t know, after the India-Pakistan partition of 1947, Pakistan divided in East Pakistan and West Pakistan. West Pakistan army have almost killed 30 lakhs East Pakistan Bengali Muslims people due to their different languages and culture. To Stop the injustice, Indian Army has entered East Pakistan land and destroyed many West Pakistan army soldiers. To retaliate, On December 8, Pakistan Army did airstrike on Bhuj Air Base and many other airbase in the western side of India.

In this film we can see Ajay Devgn aka Bhuj Airbase Commanding Officer Vijay Srinivas Karnik  and wants to reconstruct the airfield with the help of local people in order to fight out with Pakistan airforce. Here we can see, Ammy Virk aka Air force Pilot Vikram Singh Baz who destroys Pakistani army base with his team members. He is again getting ready to fight it out with Pakistan after the reconstruction of Bhuj Air Base.

In Bhuj The Pride Of India movie, Sanjay Dutt essays the role of Ranchhod Bhai Rabari, who stays nearby India Pakistan border in Gujarat and works for RAW. Here, Nora Fatehi essays the role of Indian RAW agent Heena Rehman who stays in Pakistan and married a Pakistani army man. She gives important intel to Indian army people. Sonakshi Sinha essays the role of a Madhapar village woman Sunderben from Gujarat who is also called as the lioness of Gujarat. Pranitha Subhash essays the role of Ajay Devgn’s wife in this film. Sharad Kelkar essays the role of Lt. Colonel Nair who married a Muslim handicaped girl in this film.

Bhuj movie also stars Ihana Dhillon, Mahesh Shetty, Navni Parihar, Vinitha Menon, Jay Patel and many others.

The early reviews of Bhuj The Pride Of India is highly praiseworthy. This film currently holds 7.2 stars ratings out of 10 on IMDB. Many critics who have watched the rough cut of around 20 minutes on August 12, did lauded the film.

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: This film is one hell of a ride and you would love it from first second to the last one. The screen time is just 1 hour 53 minutes and there is nothing nonsense in this film. The first 15 minutes itself were so good that it looks like we are watching the climax scene. The action scenes were terrific and will definitely give you adrenaline rush. The small role of Nora Fatehi has caught my eyes and she was phenomenal. Ajay Devgn has lived his character in every frame and he did a great job here. The best thing about this film is its VFX and action scenes. We must applaud NY VFXWAALA for giving us such a great visual treat through VFX.

This film has been produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Ginny Khanuja.  The cinematography of this film has been done by Aseem Bajaj and the editing work helmed by Dharmendra Sharma. The musical score and background music has been given by Amar Mohile. The VFX work has been done by NY VFXWAALA, which is a company owned by Ajay Devgn.

Bhuj The Pride Of India movie budget hasn’t been revealed by the makers but it would reportedly around 80 to 85 crores minimum. If this film would have released in theaters, it would have been a super-hit film.

Altogether, Bhuj The Pride Of India is one of those war films that will be always remembered for its fast paced high octane action scenes and mind-blowing visual effects.
