Well, if you must be wondering what is the actual potential of Sidharth’s Shershaah at the box office, then let me tell you it would have been a big hit for sure. The budget of Shershaah movie is around 50 crores plus.

If Shershaah movie would have released in theaters in normal scenario, it could have earned 8 to 10 crores on day 1. In such covid scenario, Sidharth’s film has a potential to earn around 3 to 4 crores nett.

The early word of mouth would have helped Shershaah in a big way in theaters. That means, it could have earned around 22 to 25 crores in the first weekend and the lifetime collection around 45 to 48 crores nett in normal scenario. In current times, if Shershaah would have released in theaters, it could have earned 14 to 15 crores in the first weekend and around 25 to 27 crores lifetime.

Altogether, Shershaah film which is based on Martyr Paramveer Chakra Awardee Captain Vikram Batra would have been a big hit in normal scenario and a flop film in current covid times in theaters. So, makers have taken a wise decision to release Shershaah movie on Amazon Prime on August 12, 2021. It had reportedly sold to Amazon Prime with a whooping price around 70 crores for its digital released.
