Salman Khan’s starring war-drama Tubelight has completed two weeks on the silver screen. It got released before Eid so that the movie gets the best possible collections but it failed to achieve it. Right from the first day, the collections started falling down and now the film is about to end its lifetime run.

Talking about the collections, Tubelight has completed the first week with a collection of 0ver 106 crores. The second week saw a steep fall up till 70 percent and the collections started decreasing. The second-weekend collection was just over 9 crores and the remaining days it has collected below 1 crores. On the very 14th day, Tubelight film has collected just 45 lakhs which made the Indian nett total to 118.91 crores. The gross collection of Tubelight was 166.45 crores.

In the overseas market, the film got released in over 1200 screens. It is by far Salman Khan’s widest release still the movie couldn’t rake a big moolah at the Box Office. In the overseas market, Salman Khan film has collected 40. 05 crores in two weeks. Now, the worldwide collection after 14 days stands at 206.56 crores.

When Tubelight was released, it received a mixed response from film critics and audience. Still, their response is mixed and some people say they liked Salman ‘s performance others call it the worst one. Anyways, Tubelight was not a normal mainstream Bollywood movie, it has some element of parallel cinema into it and that’s why this film was so different.

The film was set in the backdrop of Indo-Sino war and stars Salman Khan as Laxman Bhist, Sohail Khan, Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, Matin Rey Tangu, Late actor Om Puri and Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo role.

Altogether, Tubelight will end its lifetime run in the third week due to least numbers of audience occupancy in theaters.
