Bollywood Crazies Opinion: We have already seen Money Heist and many other famous series across the world but this is something new that the audience has witnessed here. Squid Game is not just a game show but it also talks a lot about humans and their behaviour in today’s world. We have already saw Parasite movie (2019) from South Korea which went on to win the Oscar for best picture. That film also talks about the rich and the poor, the class divide in South Korea. This web series also highlights the same kind of class divide story. There is an instance in this film, where the lower class people termed as just mere horses who are running in the race to become number 1. And the rich are those who conduct such race. At the end, the lead actor Seong calls on the number given on Squid Game Card and says we are not horses, we are humans. That is another message this web-series give is to have a faith in the humanity. Another question this web-series raise, Can we trust others in today’s world?

This is action packed webseries which has lot of heart into it. There are 8-10 characters that are being shown in this webseries and every character has their own shades. Is money is so important that you can risk your life is what this series is all about?

I am blown away by the concept, the visuals, the presentation and the emotions. All these elements are well presented in this story and which is why it will hit you hard. The first game of Green Light, Red Light was the most freaking one in all the 6 games. We need to credit the writer and director for giving something new to the audience.

This show has been created by Hwang Dong-hyuk, who is also the writer and director. The musical score has been given by Jung Jae-il. Siren Pictures Inc has produced this show. In one of the latest interviews, the director says that he had this story concept with him from last 10 years but couldn’s able to make earlier due to its bizzare vibes and he reportedly had to sell his laptop to produced this series.

Squid Games budget hasn’t been revealed by the makers but it is reportedly around USD 16.8 million- 125 crores maximum. So far, Squid Games is available in 31 plus subtitles and 13 dubbed languages including Hindi. 95 percent who have watched this show are from outside South Korea. There are being reports that both Lee Jung-jae and Jung Ho-yeon have gained a significant amount of social media followers in last few days due to the popularity of this show.

Altogether, Squid Games is all set to break the records of other popular webseries like Bridgerton and Lupin on Netflix.

Last Word: Watch it because It is one of the best web-series of 2021 across the world.

Bollywood Crazies Ratings: Squid Game Review- Mind-blowing (90 Percent Out of 100).
