One of the most anticipated films of 2021 is Salman Khan starrer Radhe. This is the first major Indian film to go for a hybrid release both in theaters and OTT platform through pay per view model. As, Radhe didn’t got a theatrical release in India, except 3 theaters in Tripura, all eyes were on its overseas collection and OTT pay per view collection. As per the latest report, Radhe movie has completed 16 days of its release but the problem is there are two types of collections floating in the market and its hard to believe any of these. Yes, Radhe Producers collection is around 300 crores, whereas trade believes that Radhe only earned 15 crores so far not the three digit figure. Whom to believe is so difficult here.

Radhe producers perspective: We all know that Radhe movie released on Zee5 app, Zeeplex and D2H platforms with a ticket price of 249 rupees. On the very first day, Zee Entertainment revealed that Radhe has got 4.2 million views, which many calculated as over 100 crores plus collection in 1 day. Till 4 days, Zee has pinned an article where it mentioned that Radhe has got 8.9 millions views in 4 days. Many calculated that 8.9 million views will give 221 crores collection. Sooner, many big websites in Bollywood claimed that Radhe has not only crossed 200 crores but it will undoubtedly earn 250 crores plus collections. On the other hand, after 2 weeks, it is being rumoured that Radhe movie has crossed 300 crores plus collections which includes 18 crores plus earnings. Even, Zee Entertainment has told to few media websites that Radhe is so far a successful film for them and it has helped increased their Zee5 subscribers to many folds.

Radhe trade perspective: On May 29, boxofficeindia.com has published an article on Radhe where they reported that this film has raked around 10 to 12 crores in one week and 15 crores so far. They also mentioned that Radhe will overall earn around 35 to 40 crores lifetime for Zee through pay per view model.

Both trade and producers figures are completely different and only one can give us the clear answer and that is Zee Entertainment spokesperson. We will wait and see what the makers or Zee officials have to say about it.

Altogether, these two types of Radhe collections till day 16 has shocked both the fans and Bollywood lovers. We hope to get some sort of answers from the makers.
