1. One thought that after the release of Love Shots you will take your much deserved break and relax?

Ans. There is no bigger relaxation for me than work. Having the opportunity to work, to be able to do work of one’s choice and to have work in hand is the biggest blessing. And I have all the three. Can’t ask for more.Regarding taking a break, the fact that I have moved on to my next projects is a break in itself.

3. You seem to be busy earning reputation when the world in general is occupied earning money?

Ans. The film industry is an industry. Industry gives birth to industrialists. Industrialists envisage development. Businessmen look at pure money-making. Money is important but only money is not important. Money can be a by-product of good work but good work can never be a by-product of money.

4. At what stage can a producer approach Madjag Films?

Ans. The honest reply is at any stage. People bring scripts. Some, which we have approved and commissioned for the OTT platform – “Movies-hath me cinema hall”. Producers who are unable to release their completed films approach us. Makers who have given up hope of their projects seeing the light of the day contact us. Content owners looking at newer sources of generating revenue come to us. People looking at wider horizons like shifting from regional cinema to Hindi films seek our advice. Producers who feel that their films have not been exploited properly in the initial run, use our services. South Indian film makers interested in tapping with the Hindi market utilize our know-how.

5. What is the USP of Madjag Films?

Ans. Transparency. By the time a project reaches the distribution/selling stage, most makers are washed-out of their finances, energies, euphoria, risk appetite and the willingness to trust another human being. Instead of using this situation of a producer as a money making opportunity, Madjag films has chosen to convert this into an experience which will act a memorable force.

6. Love Shots was a unique story? What will Heart Brake be like?

Ans. Heart Brake is going to be very different from Love Shots. As the tag line goes – Heart Brake: The Unromantic Romcom. Heart Brake will be humorous, Haste-hasaate bahut kuch bol jayegi. The story has it’s wow factor and of course novelty. Treatment will be unlike Love Shots. Kyunki likhne mein mazaa aa raha hai to banana mein mazaa aayega, aur banaane mein mazaa aayega to dekhne mein to aana hi hai. There’s still a lot to tell about every aspect of human life.

7. How do you manage so many departments?

Ans. I wake up at 4am. Till 10am I do my creative work. Then the rest of the day is for business.

8. Despite your successful body of work in television, ad-films, feature films, writing books, etc. how come you remain so low profile?

Ans. I choose my work to speak instead of speaking about my work. If the work is good, it will find it’s popularity. If the work is not good, experience will find it’s way to you. Finally I shall be known for my work and not the other way round. So, I’m fine the way it is.
