Critically acclaimed film Padman is witnessing good response from the audience on its 6th day. Since the morning shows, there is a growth in the audience occupancy, which continued throughout the day.

The morning show audience occupancy is 25 percent, which is better than yesterday. The afternoon audience occupancy is around 45 percent and the evening shows audience occupancy is around 45 percent. The night shows audience occupancy is still not confirmed, but it looks very similar to its evening one. The average audience occupancy of the day is around 35 percent.

The collections of the 6th day will be around 6.30 crores to 7.30 crores at the box office. Till the 5th day, the collection was 52.04 crores and it will now rose to over 59 crores. Released in 3350 screens worldwide, this film has collected 14 crores in the overseas market in the first weekend. There is no confirmation about the further collections in the overseas market.

R Balki’s directorial film Padman was based on the book The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad, which was written by Akshay Kumar’s wife Twinkle Khanna. Interestingly, the book was based on Arunachalam Muruganantham, who is famous in India for making low-cost sanitary pads.

Altogether, Padman is a family film, which talks about Women’s menstrual hygiene.
