One Cut Two Cut is the latest Kannada film which has officially released on OTT platform Amazon Prime on February 3, 2022. The screen time of this comedy drama is around 1 hours 28 minutes.
Story: The story of this film revolves around Danish Sait aka Gopi, who is an arts and crafts teacher and got a job on a Government School. On the first day of his class, Gopi is teaching the kids about the crafts when four people barged into the classroom and taken the kids hostage. These four people include, Prakash Belawadi aka Pruthviraj, Vineet Beep Kumar as comedian, an ex-serviceman Manosh Sputnique Sengupta and a lady Roopa Muthurayappaand who loves being vegan. In the start of the film, we see that Pruthviraj hates Amitabh Bachchan and think that he could be a better actor than him. On the verge of the retirement, Pruthviraj decides to get famous by turning into a villain and held the kids as hostages with the help of few other people. Will, Gopi is able to save the kids is what this story is all about. There is also a love angle goes on into this film between Gopi and Samyuktha Hornadu aka Nagaveni, who is also a school teacher. Vamsidhar Bhogaraju essays the role of a detective who got a mission from the government official to rescue the school kids at any cost.

The early reviews of One Cut Two Cut movie is out now and they are in a range of 3 to 3.5 stars out of 5 stars. This movie currently holds a rating of 5.4 stars out of 10 stars on IMDB, which may change as the reviews get poured in the days to come.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: If you have seen Charlie Chaplie in The Great Dictator (1940), you find Gopi’s character having the uncanny resemblance from it. The way Gopi speaks wrong English in this film will definitely make you feel happy and gives us a feel good vibe. Gopi’s character is so lively and positive, that you want to be like him. Playing a character like Gopi is difficult but the actor did made it believable which is why it flourish in the film. Today’s time, we need people like Gopi who is big with heart and cares for others too. The story is decent enough to hold your attention for around 90 minutes. The one liner situational jokes have worked for me. The fresh plot story is something that kept me hooked. It is not the best screenplay but still had ample amount of laughter in it. This film is not teaching us or giving a heavy message, but it definitely wants to teach us to live life with a good heart. The film also questions today’s journalism ethics, where only those news get slot which are getting TRP. There is only one song in this film which is a dream sequence and looks pretty OK. The editing is decent and the film hasn’t been stretched just for the sake of it. It is one of the shortest film I have watched in last few months and enjoyed it. It would have been more interesting if kids can be shown irritating Gopi in the first few minutes and that the hostage situation. None the less, One Cut Two Cut is a good attempt that is worth for your time.

This movie have been produced by late Puneeth Rajkumar’s PRK Productions, it was his first produced film. The Cinematography and editing has been done by Sahit Anand PC. The musical score has been given by Nakul Abhayankar.
One Cut Two Cut movie budget hasn’t been revealed by the makers but it could be reportedly around 4 to 5 crores maximum.
Altogether, One Cut Two Cut is a must watch film with your family and kids.
