Mahadev Ka Gorakhpur is a pan-India film released in Bhojpuri, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu languages on March 29, 2024. The screen time of this adventure mythological film is around 2 hours 11 minutes.
Story: The story revolves around Ravi Kishan aka Police Inspector Pankaj Pandey who fights against criminals at any cost. In this film, Pankaj has various shades, one of that is of a Sadhu who protects Jyotirlinga at any cost in front of dreaded villains. What is the story of Jyotirlinga is something you will find out in this movie. This film also stars Pramod Pathak, Lal, Indu Thampy and many others.

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story is interesting and rooted in Indian mythology. The screenplay started well and we all get immersed into the story in first 10 minutes. The visuals were breathtaking and each scene look so rich on the big screen. I liked how background music elevated each shot and characters. There are few nail-biting moments in this movie which you will enjoy. This is probably the first time a director from South is doing a full-fledged Bhojpuri movie. The color tone of the film gives us KGF vibes at many scenes. The makers did give us a hint of Mahadev Ka Gorakhpur part 2 but that could only be possible if this film gets positive response from the audience. Talking about casting, it is one of the best so far in Bhojpuri. All characters have given the best of it but I couldn’t keep my eyes away from Ravi Kishan. He is gem of an actor and looks great on a big screen. The 4-5 minutes monologue of Ravi sir in the end of the film is the highlight I feel. The canvas of this film is good and it matches to Hindi movie making standards. I feel the early devotional song in the movie is also nicely written and filmed. I must say that it is a clean Bhojpuri film that you can enjoy even in Hindi and other versions. The production value is also good. The fight sequences elevate this film to next level according to me. This film is technically a strong one, which looks evident on the big screen.

Mahadev Ka Gorakhpur movie budget hasn’t been revealed yet but it could reportedly being around 15 to 16 crores maximum.
Altogether, Mahadev Ka Gorakhpur is one of those good films that you must watch with your family in theaters.
