One of the most awaited releases of 2023 from India is Leo movie, whose advance booking has officially being opened in India. This is a pan-India film and it will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada versions. So far, the buzz around the film is high and it has already touched 1.1 million interest rate on Bookmyshow.
In Chennai, only 10 theaters have opened the advance booking of Leo movie and it has already 95 percent sold out for day 1. Most of the theaters are yet to open advance booking in Chennai. The average ticket price of Leo movie in these theaters is around 200 rupees.
In Hyderabad, Vyjayanthi Cinema has only opened the advance ticket sales for Telugu version. The Telugu version advance booking is yet to open in most of the theaters in Hyderabad. In Bengaluru, 42 theaters have allotted multiple shows to Leo movie. You would be shocked to know that first show has started at 4 am costing 1000 Rupees on October 19 and it is sold out. So far, it looks like the average ticket price in the city is somewhere around 400 rupees. Interestingly, many theaters are charging 1200 to 2400 rupees per ticket in the Bengaluru city. Leo movie has witnessed an occupancy of 40 percent in Bengaluru from 42 theaters.
In Kochi, as many as 21 theaters have allotted multiple shows in the city. Here, Leo Tamil version first show starts at 4 am in many theaters. Here, the average ticket price of Leo is around 200 rupees. In Vanitha Cinemas, all 4 shows of 4 am have been sold out, even two shows of 8 am is also sold out so far. Insane response for Leo in Kochi city. In Kochi, the audience occupancy is around 55 percent so far for day 1.
In Mumbai, the advance sales is yet to open for Leo movie. In Kolkata, one theatre has give Leo Hindi version shows and one theatre has opened Leo Tamil version. In Pune city, only one theatre has started Leo advance booking.
Across India, Leo advance booking has started in a decent way and we expect full-fledged advance booking to open in India by October 16 onwards.
