Another gem from Malayalam Cinema, Kuruthi movie has officially released on Amazon Prime on August 11, 2021. The screen time of this crime thriller film is around 2 hours 2 minutes.

Story: The story of this film talks about Roshan Mathew aka Ibrahim, whose wife and a daughter died in a landslide. He had a lonely troublesome life and now he is inclined towards religious things. Still, he is uncertain about his upcoming life and wants to go to heaven to meet his daughter.

Well, hell break loose when S.I Sathyan aka Murali Gopy barged into Ibrahim’s house along with a culprit Sagar Surya aka Vishnu. Vishnu has murdered an old man who has hurt his religious sentiments. Now, Prithviraj Sukumaran aka Laiq and his men is on a run to kill Vishnu at any cost. Somehow, Liaq sniffed that Vishnu is hiding in Ibrahim’s house and he almost killed the policeman Sathyan. Before dying, Sathyan took a promise from Ibrahim that he better save Vishnu and only hand it over to police not Liaq. Will, Ibrahim able to save the stranger culprit Vishnu against dangerous man Liaq is what the story follows.

This film also feature Mamukkoya, Shine Tom Chacko, Srindaa, Manikandan R. Achari, Navas Vallikunnu and Naslen K. Gafoor in key roles.

The early reviews of Kuruthi movie is highly positive and many have rated it in a range of 3 to 3.5 stars out of 5. Apart from that, Kuruthi movie holds an IMDB rating of around 8.1 out of 10.

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: Kuruthi movie story starts slowly and steadily. After 30 minutes, the movie story plot changes with the entry of a policeman and culprit. This film has mostly being shot in night and in a closed room. The screenplay was smooth and we could understand the situations clearly. The acting of Prithviraj, Roshan, Murali and Srindaa were brilliant. This is the debut film for the director and he did hold the horses well in this film. The background score adds up more fire to the story. Roshan’s character was one of the challenging one but he did his job pretty well. The story is the hero of this film and audience will definitely like it.

Kuruthi movie has been directed by Manu Warrier. The movie story has been written by Anish Pallyal and produced by Supriya Menon. Abinandhan Ramanujam has done the cinematography whereas Akhilesh Mohan credited for the editing. The musical score has been given by Jakes Bejoy.

Kuruthi movie budget hasn’t been revealed by the makers but it would reportedly be around 5 to 7 crores maximum.

Altogether, Kuruthi is one of those films that is high on its content and performances.
