Shahid Kapoor’s latest flick Kabir Singh is all set to surprise the trade and audience and the film is garnering rave reviews across the world. The film was first released on June 20 in UAE and the reviewers have given a star rating around 3.5 stars to 4 stars. This rating is enough to tell you that, Kabir Singh will take a flying start.

There have been reports that Kabir Singh Advance Booking is the second best after Bharat in 2019, especially in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities. As the film received ‘A’ certificate, which means the film is for 18+ age audience. This will definitely keep the family audience aside which are always crucial to make a film a major hit. Still, we have seen number of occasions that even 18+ rated film works wonders at the box office.

Though, there have been no screen count details received by the producers but it would be around 2700 to 3000 screens. The audience occupancy in the morning shows is around 50 percent as per boxofficeindia.com. The film will work on word of mouth publicity since afternoon, evening and night shows. As its not a holiday release and the ticket prices are also very much affordable, that means the film will not take a record breaking opening at the box office. Still, it can be Shahid Kapoor’s biggest opener as his performance has been praised in the movie so far. I personally feel, 13 to 15 crores opening for the day 1 will be a good start for the film.

Directed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy, who has earlier helmed Telugu film Arjun Reddy, has directed this Hindi remake. This film stars Shahid along with Kiara Advani.

Altogether, as there are no major clashes, this film can be a game changer for Shahid Kapoor!
