One of the most awaited Tamil film Ka Pae Ranasingam has finally released on OTT platform Zee5 on October 9, 2020 in multiple languages including Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. Earlier, on October 2, Ka Pae Ranasingam has officially released in original Tamil version on Zee Plex channel as per pay per view model.

This film has been written and directed by P. Virumandi, which is also his debut film. He has a great future ahead as the story is based on real life incident and it is heart wrenching.
Vijay Sethupathi essayed the role of Ranasingam and Aishwarya Rajesh played the role of Ariyanchi. So what happened is, Ranasingam falls in love with Ariyanchi, they got married and even has a kid. Soon, Ranasingam lands in Dubai to earn money but he died suddenly. It take a toll on Ariyanchi to bring his husband body back in India. As, after struggling for over 10 months, she failed to bring her husband body back. Than she tries different strategy going out of the law in a hope to bring her dead husband body back. Will she able to bring Ranasingham body back is what follows the story.
The music of this film has been given by famous Ghibran. The cinematography work has been done by N K Ekambaram. There are many beautiful shots in the film that will make you feel the movie. One shot that I liked in this film is, Ariyanchi got a call from a dubai based person, who is Ranasingam friend, he told that her husband died of accident in the company. In that shot. The cinematography takes a high top angle shot where we can see Ariyanchi crying on the bridge.
The editing work has been done by T Sivanadeeswaran. I wish this film would have been abit shorter. As, it would be more exciting. The screentime is 2 hours 57 minutes, which is a bit big for normal audience. This film has been produced by KJR Studios.
The budget of Ka Pae Ranasingam hasn’t been revealed but it would be reportedly around 12 to 15 crores. By looking at the online response, Ka Pae Ranasingam is a big hit. Even if it had released in theaters, it would have recovered the cost and turn out to be a big hit.
Meanwhile, Ka Pae Ranasingam has got good reviews from critics in a range of 3 to 3.5 stars out of 5. This film received 7.7 star ratings out of 10 on IMDB.
Last word: Watch it for Aishwarya Rajesh, Vijay Sethupathi and the debut director. Also watch it for its real and strong story.
