Ginny Weds Sunny named seem too unique but the film story plot was too normal. We have already seen such type of films years after years, where girl and boy falls in love and got together in the end. What makes this film interesting is the fresh pair of Vikrant Massey and Yami Gautam. Ginny Weds Sunny film has been released on Netflix on October 9, 2020.

They had given their 100 percent in this film still it is a mediocre film in many ways. It has been directed by debutant Puneet Khanna, who did a great attempt in directing a masala film by taking this new pair.
Talking about the music, the makers did good with the songs in this film. Rubaru and Fir Chala are soulful songs whereas LOL and Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag reprised version will make you groove on the floors.

The screentime of this film is 2 hours 5 minutes which is perfect. The editing in this film is done by Sandeep Sethy. The cinematography has been managed by Nuthan Nagaraj. This film has been written by Navjot Gulati and Sumit Arora. The story is good but the audience has seen such love stories before too and even some comedy dialouges were either childish or cringy. The makers must make sure that the dialogues has the power to win hearts and they can be used effectively. There were hardly any raw emotions, it was more of like a candyfloss.
There were some good moments in this film and Vikrant did a convincing role. Vikrant has a great future ahead after Mirzapur and Criminal Justice. The budget of Ginny Weds Sunny is not known yet but it would be reportedly over 15 to 17 crores.
The early response of Ginny Weds Sunny is not so effective and this film can be termed as an above average. What if it ever released in theaters? It would have been a disaster.
Last Word: Watch it for Vikrant Massey and Yami Gautam. Also watch it if you like Bollywood masala films.
