James is the latest Kannada film which has officially released in cinema theaters on March 17, 2022. This screentime of this film is around 2 hours 29 minutes. This is the last film of Puneeth Rajkumar before his untimely death in October 29, 2021.
Story: The story of this movie revolves around James security Agency which has been run by Puneeth Rajkumar aka James aka Santosh. He has been hired to do the security of Srikanth aka Gaikwad, who runs illegal business across the world. James one by one eliminates Gaikwad’s enemies and builds a trust with his family. Even, Gaikwad’s sister Priya Anand aka Nisha Gaikwad, get impressed by James and falls in love for him. Is James is just a security agency member or something else is what you need to watch in this film. James has his own secret is he a good guy or a bad guy is also a twist in this film.
This movie also stars Anu Prabhakar, R Sarathkumar, Hareesh Peradi, Tilak Shekar, Mukesh Rishi, Aditya Menon, Sadhu Kokila and many others. Even, Shiva Rajkumar also is this movie in a cameo role.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story is about dark illegal market which is run by influential businessman across the world who are in to drugs, human trafficking and weapons. The story has been written well where first half till interval is full of action and the second half is emotional plus action. Its a perfect masala entertainer film with a huge production value. It is a costly film and lot of hard work has been put through by the whole movie team. The cinematography is good and the movie looks visually amazing. I liked slow motion action scenes a lot in this movie. Talking about the performance, this film heavily dependent on Puneeth Rajkumar shoulder and he delivers yet another praiseworthy performance. The musical score is impactful and it gives us goosebumps during the action sequences. The director has made this fill a worth watch. There are only few issues in the first half but the second half is totally explosive. The screenplay is decent and could have been better. It takes time to understand the story of this film but once you get into this film you will remain seated till the end.
This movie has been written and directed by Chethan Kumar. This film has been produced by Kishore Pathikonda. The cinematography of this film has been done by Swamy J Gowda and the editing work done by Deepu S Kumar. The musical score has been given by Charan Raj.
The movie budget of James hasn’t been revealed yet but it could reportedly be around 53 to 55 crores maximum.
Altogether, James is high on action film which is a full on entertainer for the audience.
