ET or Etharkkum Thunindhavan is the latest Tamil film which has officially being released in Cinema theaters in India on March 10, 2022. The screen time of this crime drama film is around 2 hours 31 minutes. This movie has been reportedly based on Pollachi sexual assault case of Tamilnadu where women were blackmailed, tortured and even burnt to death.
Story: The story of this film based on Suriya aka Krishna Mohan who is lawyer staying in a village near to Chittoor. His village has problem and issues with adjacent village next to it. Krishna falls in love with Priyanka Arul Mohan aka Adira, who stays in the adjacent village. Somehow, they are both are about to marry and things are falling in place. Suddenly, it is being noticed that many of the girls from the nearby villages are being killed and tortured. As a lawyer, Krishna decides to take revenge from the gang who torture women and even make their explicit videos. After getting into deep, Krishna finds that Vinay Rai aka Kamesh is behind all of these crime against women. Will, Krishna able to nab the gang and put Kamesh behind the jail is what this story is all about.

The early reviews of ET movie is out now and they got mixed response in a range of 2 to 2.5 stars out of 5 stars. This film currently holds 9.3 stars ratings out of 10 stars on IMDB.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: ET movie story is good and based on the real life incident but the story presentation on the screen is not up to the mark. Unlike last two films of Suriya, Soorarai Pottru (2020) and Jai Bhim (2021), this one is not up to the mark. The screenplay is average and the writing work has some issues in the middle. The first half is not at all up to the mark and only highlight in the fight sequence before the interval. The film takes a lift in the second half is where the actual story holds grip and was up to the point. These kind of stories do work but the lack of emotions sometime spoils the whole film. Despite such a big star cast, this film has its own loopholes. Even the villain, fails to give his best shot. In spite of all that, ET is one of those film that is a one time watch and that too for Suriya and his remarkable performance and action scenes. The makers trying to make a full-fledged masala entertainer but looks like they failed this time. The music is good but has nothing more to cheer you up. The bgm during the fight sequence did give you adrenaline rush. The cinematography is OK and the editing is average. The message of this film is good but it could have been conveyed in a much better way.
This movie has been written and directed by Pandiraj. This movie has been produced by Kalanithi Maran. The cinematography has been done by R Rathnavelu and the musicial score given by D Imman. The editing work has handled by Ruben.
ET movie budget has been revealed by the makers but it could reportedly being around 38 to 40 crores maximum.
Altogether, ET movie has received mixed reviews from film critics. It is truly a film for Suriya fan and lovers.
