Latest Odia film Daman has done outstanding performance across Pan-India level. This film has crossed the local boundary of Odisha and is being appreciated across India. The word of mouth is amazing for this film when it released on November 4, 2022 in Odisha. The film later released on November 11 in major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru and many others.

This 2 hours long film talks about a doctor’s journey into the jungle where there are around 151 villages who didn’t had any Medical facilities in the nearby area.

Daman movie has a limited release but still it has managed to create buzz across India to some extent. Daman movie has reportedly collected around Rs 35k on day 1, followed by 1 lakhs plus on day 2, on day 3, it has further collected over 2 lakhs plus. In three days, Daman movie has collected somewhere around 3.35 lakhs.

On day 4, Daman movie shows has been cut-out by half in Many cities in India. Daman released with 2 shows in Mumbai on day 1 but now it has 3 shows on day 4, which is a good figure. Well, Delhi market too cut down few shows from day 4 and currently only 2 shows running in the capital. In Bengaluru, the shows count is 9 and most of the shows are almost housefull which is a great trend as it is a working day on Monday. There are 4 shows on day 4 in Hyderabad and all the shows are getting sold out. In Chennai only one show has been allotted but that is 70 percent full which is good.

Despite its normal working Monday, Daman still holds well and surely its Hindi version will perform even better. As the director Vishal Mourya updated that the film will be released soon in Hindi version, there are bigger chances that Hindi audience will appreciate this film starring Babushaan Mohanty.
