Bell Bottom movie is the first Bollywood film whose media premiere event has been done in INOX Theaters, Surat in Gujarat on evening of August 18. Bell Bottom is officially releasing on August 19, 2021 across the world. The screen time of this action spy film is around 2 hours 10 minutes. Bell Bottom movie currently got 1500 plus screens in India and 225 plus screens in overseas, which means a total of 1725 plus screens worldwide. This film has officially released on OTT space on Amazon Prime on September 16, 2021. The OTT screen time is around 2 hours 3 minutes.

Story: The basic story plot of this film is Akshay Kumar is essaying the role of a RAW agent whose code name is Bell Bottom. Now the situation here is, from 1979 to 1984, 7 times terrorists had able to hijack Indian airplanes.

Now again an Indian airplane has been hijacked. This time Indian government wants to save their reputation and rescue 210 people who have been captured by 4 terrorists in a hijacked airplane. To lead this mission, RAW agent Bell Bottom takes the charge and he has only 7 hours time to save the hostages life and kill the 4 culprit. Will, Bell Bottom able to do that is what this story is all about. Not to forget, it is India’s first covert operation on foreign soil. Those who don’t know about covert operation, it means that it is a secret mission and no one know who did the funding and backing.

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: I watched this film and I am damn sure Akshay’s character has been presented in the most stylish way. His swag and style are the key highlight of this film. Over the top, the background music gives much needed hype to his character of Bell Bottom. The film is low on emotions but high on drama. Till the last moment, the makers have kept surprise elements and you don’t know what will happen next. The screen time given to Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi are much less than expected but still they did a fine job. Lara Dutta as Late Indira Gandhi has excelled in her character. Adil Hussain did a good job as RAW chief. Overall, the movie is made with full gusto but only misses the emotional element. A decent direction from Ranjit Tewari which was on point or this film could have gone anywhere, if not handled sensibly. A wise attempt but not the best from the makers.

Bell Bottom movie has been directed by Ranjit M Tewari. It has been written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh. This movie have been produced by Pooja Entertainment and Emmay Entertainment. The cinematography has been done by Rajeev Ravi and the editing work helmed by Chandan Arora. The background musical score has been given by Daniel B. George.

Bell Bottom movie budget hasn’t been officially revealed by the makers but it would reportedly be around 65 to 70 crores minimum. Post theatrical release, Bell Bottom film has been reportedly bought by Amazon Prime on a whopping price of around 50 crores. Though, there is no official confirmation on the same. This film may release on Amazon Prime after 3 weeks.

Altogether, Bell Bottom is one of the biggest Bollywood release of 2021 and currently it look like a winner in terms of positive early reviews and decent advance booking.
