Bareilly Ki Barfi Audience Occupancy Report Day 1

A medium-budget film Bareilly Ki Barfi has already hit the screens today. In spite of a great buzz, the film fails to open in a big way at the box office. As per the first day morning audience occupancy report, Bareilly Ki Barfi has performed below average.

It received a morning audience occupancy of 8-10 percent on the first day.This mostly happens when a small or medium budget film releases on Friday. Though, the film is strong with content and getting good reviews from the audience. It looks like the full day occupancy will be a better one. Due to positive word of a mouth publicity, Bareilly Ki Barfi will end the end with 20-25 percent audience occupancy.

After getting a good response from Critics, now all eyes are on the audience response. If they loved the movie then it will surely earn good money on first Saturday and Sunday. This film is being made on a budget of 17 crores and 7 crores were spent on the promotions. By looking at the responses about this movie, there is no doubt that it will recover its budgeting cost.

The only problem Bareilly Ki Barfi will face is the competition with another film Toilet Ek Prem Katha, which is currently in the second week. It looks like, Toilet Ek Prem Katha might earn better than Bareilly Ki Barfi. As, Akshay Kumar’s latest film has got an audience occupancy of over 20 percent in the morning occupancy on Day 8, which is quite amazing.

Bareilly Ki Barfi is a love triangle sets around Bareilly city. The story of this film is being written by Nitesh Tiwari, who has earlier helmed Dangal. Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, this film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao in key roles.

Altogether, the first-day collection of Bareilly Ki Barfi might touch 3-4 cores as per the first-day response.
