A few years back, this song was sung again by Pakistani singer Junaid Asghar on a live television. The song has turned incredibly popular again and someone has used the audio and made something new out of it.

Now let’s come back on the Baadshaho movie, which stars Ajay Devgn as a male lead along with Ileana D’Cruz and his lovemate. This first song Mere Rashke Qamar has been picturised beautifully and it will certainly turn out to be a hit number. The lyrics of the song has penned by Manoj Muntashir, which is being composed by Tanishk Bagchi.
Talking about the film, Milan Luthria said, “This is a historical fiction film. We have used some facts, there is a lot of stuff that was unusual and exciting. It (Emergency as subject) is a great backdrop for action and thrills. We have done extensive research on the subject.”

Helmed by Milan, the film also stars Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jammwal, Esha Gupta and Sanjay Mishra in pivotal roles. The film is set to release on September 1, 2017.
