Animal is the latest film which has officially released in cinema theaters across India and worldwide on December 1, 2023. The screen time of this film is reportedly around 3 hours 21 minutes 29 seconds. This film has been certified “A” rating by Indian Censor Board.
Story: This film story is really simple, a son Ranbir Kapoor aka Ranvijay Singh love and adores his rich father Anil Kapoor aka Balbir Singh since childhood. Now he is grown up and still seek attention and affection from his father. On the other hand, his father is so busy that he don’t give him time. One fine day, Balbir Singh has been shot by unknown men and is on the bed for rest. When, Ranvijay got to know about it, he decides to take control of his father’s company and his security too. What happens next forms the rest of the story. This film also features Rashmika Mandanna as Ranvijay’s wife, Bobby Deol aka Abrar Haque, Shakti Kapoor and many others.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story of this film is nothing new but it’s presentation is something that make this film interesting. It’s a wild film by a wild filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga who made his mark with over 3 hours runtime. The screenplay is good in the first half but the second half is a bit slow. The end is so good that it makes the film worth watch. More than that, the end credit scene is something that you shouldn’t miss watching. The story is good and has been presented in electrifying way which makes an engaging watch for the audience. I must admit that this film will not be liked by everyone and due to various reasons. So kindly, think before watching this film. The dialogues are good which makes its more relatable. The cinematography is top notch and that also sets the mood of the audience in a right way throughout the film. Talking about performances, Ranbir Kapoor has outdone others in a big way and his best so far. I must also give credit to Bobby Deol who shines in her short role. Anil Kapoor is flawless too. Animal is not for everyone but youth will definitely like it. The background music is so good that it gives adrenaline rush whenever an important scene comes. I must tell you, the story is decent but the presentation is even better. Not the best film still a film that you must remember for long. The music of this film is engaging too and that also is like a bonus for the audience. The action scenes are the biggest highlight of this film. I must mention a particular action scene before the interval, where we see the biggest ever gun machine and that seen is truly magnificent. It’s a crazy film and I must admit that I feel every bit of this cinema. This is what we call a masala cinema with has everything for the hardcore masses.
The screenplay, story, editing and direction has been done by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. This film have been produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Murad Khetani and Pranay Reddy Vanga. The cinematography has been done by Amit Roy and the background music given by Harshwardhan Rameshwar.
Animal movie budget hasn’t been revealed by the makers but it could reportedly being around 118 to 120 crores maximum.
Altogether, Animal is a crazy wild ride that audience should take atleast once.
