Adipurush is the latest Pan-India film which has officially released in cinema theaters on June 16, 2023. The screen time of this mythological action drama film is around 2 hours 59 minutes. This film has been released in 2D, 3D versions.
Story: The story starts by showing Saif Ali Khan aka Raavan getting the blessing that no one can kill him! Few years later, the director shows us Prabhas aka Shri Ram, Kriti Sanon aka Sita Mata and Sunny Singh aka Lord Lakshman in jungle. Soon we got to know that, Raavan sister Supnakha fall in love for Lord Ram. When she confesses him about it, Ramji rejected her completely. In anger, she tries to kill Sita Mata but fails. With broken nose, she reached to brother Raavan and detailed about the incident and beauty of Sita Mata. This led, Raavan to visit the jungle and kidnapped Sita. We all know that, Lord Ram took the help of Vanarsena and face off Raavan. What happens next forms the rest of the story.
This film also stars Devdatta Nage aka Lord Hanuman, Vatsal Sheth, Sonal Chauhan, Trupti Toradmal.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story is good along with some brilliant dialogues. The screenplay is not up to the mark. As, VFX is poor which spoils the mood in 3 long hours. The imagination of the director is good but the execution is not worth. There is hardly any emotional scene in this film that keep you hooked. The music is the plus point ot this film and VFX is the worst point. The 3D of this film is not effective at all. The background music is decent but not best. The first half of this film is somewhat engaging but the second half is boring and not up to the mark. The realistic touch is missing in this film or it would have been a big hit for sure. I personally feel that a big opportunity has been missed by the makers. The budget of this film is huge but still the makers fails to make a big impact. I think, the makers should do brainstorming about what went wrong about the film. The makers are targeting the youth for this film and it would be important to see how it fairs throughout this weekend. Talking about the performance, only Saif Ali Khan looks impress and somewhere Devdatta Nage did some justice to the role. Both Prabhas and Kriti didn’t lived up to the character.

The cinematography has been done by Karthik Palani. The background musical score have been given by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara. The editing work have been done by Apurva Motiwale Sahai and Ashish Mhatre.
Adipurush movie budget hasn’t been revealed yet by the makers but it could be reportedly around 500 crores.
Altogether, Adipurush movie is only one time watch and that too if you are a die hard Prabhas fan. Otherwise, you can skip the movie.
Last Word: Watch it only for Prabhas or if you want to talk watch Ramayan on a big screen.
