One of the biggest Indian hits Baahubali 2 is struggling to rake a big money in Chinese box office. Released on May 4, 2018 it has completed 10 days but still miles behind to reach 100 crores.
Prabhas starring Baahubali 2 was released in over 53000 shows on day 1 and has earned $ 2.41 million-16.10 crores in China. In first week, this magnum open has collected $10.80 million -72.50 crores.
Avengers: Infinity War Collection Day 12 In India
In second weekend, Baahubali 2 faced a clash with Avengers: Infinity War in China and collected around 2 crores. Till now, S.S. Rajamouli directed film has earned $ 11.15 million -75.10 crores collection. Before releasing in China, Baahubali 2 has earned 1716 crores worldwide and now it is 1791 crores so far.
Meanwhile, Baahubali 2 shows has been down to 3000, which was earlier 50000 plus screens in first week. This is all due to Avengers Infinity War movie, which has so far collected $ 200.04 million – 1349 crores in three days in China.
Baahubali 2 movie is currently standing on the 7th position in the Chinese market and it may be out of the race after a week. Still, it has a good chance to add few more crores and might touch 80 crores lifetime in China.
Altogether, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is the lowest earning Indian movie in China in 2018 so far.
