One of the biggest news of the day is here, we are going to witness history by production house YRF who has lately announced the release date of War 2. After the menace at the box office by Tiger 3, YRF is back with another big film War 2 and they have decided to release the big film on August 14, 2025 Thursday on Independence day weekend.

We have all seen Tiger 3 which has hit this Diwali and in the end we saw the entry of Hrithik Roshan aka Kabir who is going to face a unknown big villain. We don’t know the plot or starcast, still there is huge excitement for War 2. The first part of War was released on October 2, 2019 and turned out to be a big hit. Now after 6 years, audience will get to witness the sequel of War. It will also take the Spy Universe ahead, who have already given films Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019), Pathaan (2023), Tiger 3 (2023) and now War 2 (2025).

Another big information about War 2 is Ayan Mukerji who is going to direct the film. He has earlier surprised us with Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) and Brahmastra (2022). This is also the first time Ayan is going to helm a film for Yash Raj banner.

It would be interesting to see whether Tiger and Pathaan join hands with Kabir in War 2! No details have been divulged yet about this mega collaboration on big screen but if that happens it will be a treat for the audience. War 2 cast and crew is yet to be finalized. There are chances that War 2 shooting will start from early 2024.

The biggest thing everyone want to know that is Telugu superstar Junior NTR is a part of War 2 or not! we would wait and see when and how YRF clarifies on this.
