Valimai is the biggest ever South India film of 2022 which has officially releasing on February 24, 2022. This is for the first time Thala Ajith starrer film will release in a Pan-India way as this Tamil film will also be released in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi versions too. As per the latest report, Valimai advance booking started in India and tickers are selling like hot cakes.
As per LA Cinema of Tiruchirapally of Tamilnadu, “8k tickets sold in 45 mins time 😍 for both #Maris and #Sona Valimai.”
Talking about Chennai city, the early morning show started at 4 am and it goes till 11 pm in the night. The good news is, 100 percent audience occupancy is allowed in cinema halls which is a boon to this big action thriller film. Only limited cinema theaters have started their shows of Valimai and nearly 85 to 90 percent tickets of day 1 has been sold. Only 16 theaters have so far opened in Chennai and many of them have given 8 to 10 shows minimum. The ticket price is also in a range of 150 to 200 rupees in Chennai. More shows will be opened soon in Chennai.
Apart from Chennai, Madurai city have opened around 17 theaters and have given multiple shows from 4.30 am onwards. Nearly 50 percent shows in this city has already sold out in few hours.
In Hyderabad, only four theaters have allotted Valimai Telugu shows and two theaters are showing its Tamil versions. The theaters and shows will extend soon as per demand.
Valimai shows booking has also started in Bengaluru in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu versions. Almost 50 theaters in Bengaluru has allotted multiple shows for Valimai on day 1. The advance booking just started in Kochi in Kerala in one theatre.
Valimai advance booking in North circuit is yet to open soon. Meanwhile, Valimai has crossed 2000k interest oin Bookmyshow, which is itself a record for a South India film.
Directed by H Vinoth, this film stars Thala Ajith, Huma Qureshi and many others in key roles. It has been produced by Boney Kapoor.
