Tumbbad was originally released on October 12, 2018 but the movie was hardly watched by Indian audiences. The movie got immense love and fame when it released on OTT platform back then. On public demand, Tumbbad got re-release on September 13, 2024 in India. The response of this film is phenomenal till now as it has scored well than the latest release The Buckingham Murders.

Sohum Shah starrer film has released in over 1200 plus screens across India. Tumbbad first day has sold somewhere around 17K tickets on Bookmyshow. The ticket rates of Tumbbad is also on the lower side as compare as it was re-released. As per the current report, Tumbbad movie has collection around 1.65 crores on day 1. Interestingly, when it was released in 2018, Tumbbad collected 65 lakhs on day 1.

Rahi Anil Barve directorial film has been termed as the best horror film in Indian cinema and audience is still loving the film more than the first time it released in theaters. The second day has also started on a good note with decent audience occupancy. It looks like, Tumbbad will see a growth of 30 to 40 percent on day 2 as well.

One thing is proven from this film’s re-release, that hard work pays off, may be not today but definitely tomorrow or near future. As we all know, Tumbbad movie has been made with 6 years of hard work.
