Bhoot Bungla movie has already been made in 1965 starring Mehmood in the lead. After almost 60 years, audience will get another movie of the same name Bhooth Bangla which is planned to release in 2025. The genre of Booth Bangla will be horror fantasy comedy.

On the occasion of Akshay Kumar’s 57th birthday on September 9, he himself took to social media and informed everyone about this big film. Akshay wrote, “Thank you for your love on my birthday, year after year! Celebrating this year with the first look of ‘Bhooth Bangla’! I’m beyond excited to join forces with Priyadarshan again after 14 years. This dream collaboration has been a long time coming… can’t wait to share this incredible journey with you all. Stay tuned for the magic!

By looking at the motion poster, I feel that director Priyadarshan will set the film in India only. As most of his films are set in India and done good business. The starcast of this film is still under wraps but there are reports which says that Rajpal Yadav, Paresh Rawal, Asrani and most probably Johny Lever. We must not forget, Priyadarshan sir have also given Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) which considered first horror comedy of Bollywood. So, in Bhooth Bangla too, he will surprise the audience with horror comedy with some sort of black magic in it.

Bhooth Bangla movie budget will certainly be over 90 to 100 crores for sure if the makers coming up with fantasy element into this horror comedy. Ekta Kapoor is co-producer of this film and we hope se will give justice to the budget in comparison to story.

Bhooth Bangla movie shooting will be starting from October 2024 itself. Currently, pre-production work is in full swing. The trailer is expected to be come out by September 2025 end as most probably the makers will be eying to release Bhooth Bangla movie on Diwali 2025 which is somewhere around October 20, 2025.
