Akshay Kumar starring Toilet Ek Prem Katha is one of the most profitable films of 2017. And now, it is about to break the record of Salman Khan starring Tubelight.

In the first week itself, Toilet Ek Prem Katha has collected 96 crores. In 8 days, Toilet Ek Prem Katha has able to cross 100 crores at the box office. After the completion of 11 days, Toilet Ek Prem Katha has collected almost 118 crores at the box office and on the 12th day, this film will beat the record of Salman’s Tubelight, which has collected 121 crores lifetime.

Akshay Kumar’s film was being made on a budget of 24 crores and it has already considered as a super hit film. On the other hand, Salman Khan’s Tubelight has faced a big loss at the box office. Made with over 100 crores budget, this film has able to collect only 121 crores. Directed by Kabir Khan, Tubelight is considered as one of the biggest flops of 2017.

After beating the record of Tubelight, Akshay’s film Toilet Ek Prem Katha will also break the record of Hrithik Roshan starring Kaabil, which has earned 126 crores at the box office.

Altogether, Akshay Kumar’s film Toilet Ek Prem Katha is still going strong and might become the highest grossing Bollywood film of 2017.
