Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starring Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is still doing a decent collection at the box office on the fourth Friday.
Started with a bang on August 11, 2017, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha has come a long way in terms of collections. It has been made with a budget of nearly 40 crores and got released in over 3000 screens across India. It has collected 96 crores on the First Week. The second week and third week was also a good one for the movie and it has made a total of 129.10 crores.
On the Fourth Friday, Akshay Kumar’s starring film has collected another 20 lakhs at the box office, which makes the current total to 129.30 crores. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, Toilet Ek Prem Katha has come out as a complete entertainer. It has become the second highest Bollywood grosser of 2017 headed by Raees, which has a lifetime collection of 139 crores.

Talking about this film success, Bhumi Pednekar said, “Now is the time characters need to be made around girls and women because, honestly, they are the ones either suffering or celebrating at the moment because after a very long time we are finally seeing some sort of change in the society and in the film industry. I’m just glad that such movies are written.”
Toilet Ek Prem Katha movie is being written by Sidharth and Garima, which also stars Divyendu Sharma, Anupam Kher in key roles.
Altogether, Toilet Ek Prem Katha is the most profitable film of the calendar year.
