Akshay Kumar’s social drama Toilet Ek Prem Katha has completed 8 days at the box office. And the good thing about this movie is, it has entered the 100 crores club.

No one had thought that this movie will come so far in terms of collections. But, due to the poor performance of Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starring Jab Harry Met Sejal, Toilet Ek Prem Katha flourishes at the box office in a big way.
It has already broken the records of Jab Harry Met Sejal and is all set to break the record of Tubelight in another few days. As Salman Khan starring Tubelight had collected 121 crores lifetime and it looks like Toilet Ek Prem Katha will break that record by the end of 2 weeks.

In terms of performances, Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar did surprise us in a big way. Apart from that, Sudhir Pandey and Divyendu Sharma has played their part equally well.

This film talks about the problem of Toilet and open defecation in India in the most simplest way. And, that’s the reason why audience connected with this film in a big way.

Till the first week, Toilet Ek Prem Katha collection was 96.05 crores. On the 8th day, Akshay Kumar’s film has collected 4.25 crores, which makes the overall total to 100.30 crores.

Altogether, Toilet Ek Prem Katha shines even on the second Friday.
