Akshay Kumar’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha has seen a huge growth on the second day in terms of audience occupancy. This film has witnessed a growth of 30 to 35 percent in audience occupancy from Day 1 to Day 2.

On the first day, Toilet Ek Prem Katha audience occupancy was about 40 to 45 percent and it has collected 13.10 crores. Well, due to positive word of a mouth publicity, this film has performed exceptional on the second day and the collection has seen a growth of 2-3 crores in the day 2. Talking about the Day 2 collections, Toilet Ek Prem Katha has rake 17 crores on the second day, as per the early estimates.

Made on a mere budget of 20 crores, this film is promoted heavily with a promotional amount of 20 crores. So the overall budget of the movie stands with 40 crores. Released in 3000 screens in India and 590 screens in an overseas market, this film has performed way better than other releases in 2017.

The Film Industry, which was witnessing a series of a flop in last 4 months, must be quite relieved with the success of Akshay Kumar’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha. If the collections will go in the same way then it will break the lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jab Harry Met Sejal in 5 days, which is still staggering around 60 crores.

Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film also stars Bhumi Pednekar, Sana Khan, Anupam Kher, Divyendu Sharma, and Sudhir Pandey in key roles.

Altogether, Toilet Ek Prem Katha seems to cross 100 crores easily in a time of 8 to 10 days.
