Tiku Weds Sheru is the latest Hindi film which has officially released on OTT platform Amazon Prime on June 23, 2023. The screen time of this drama film is around 1 hour 51 minutes 33 seconds.
Story: The story of this film revolves around Nawazuddin Siddiqui aka Shiraz Khan Afghani aka Sheru who is a struggling actor in Mumbai and have done small roles in 44 films. Soon, he married to Avneet Kaur aka Tasleem Khan aka Tiku, who also wants to be a film actress. She hails from Bhopal and the only reason she married to Sheru is to move to Mumbai and fulfill her dreams. So, Sheru is back with Tiku in the dream city where the former lies to her about his job profile. When, Tiku got to know about Sheru’s real identity? what she does follows the rest of the story.
This film also features Zakir Hussain, Vipin Sharma, Mukesh Bhatt, Suresh Vishwakarma and many others.

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story is good and has been presented well by the makers. This film is relatable to every struggling artists who wants to make it big in the city. There are dialogues which are nicely written and there are some dialogues which are cringe. There are use of abusive words across the film which may have been avoided. There is also a retro touch in this film, which seems like some sort of ode to 60’s and 70’s Hindi cinema. Talking about the performances, Avneet did shine as an outsider Tiku in this movie. Nawaz has played such roles in the past, so he looks repetitive here. This film starts with a strong way but the ending is not up to the mark. This film also shows the dark side of film industry and the work ethics. The production value of this film is decent and the makers could have elevated the film in the end. The film has been extensively shot in a Cuff Parade area of Mumbai and the indoor house makes the scene more authentic. The background music is good and some songs in this film adds value to this story. The cameo of Kangana Ranaut is meaningful and I liked her swag and style. The screenplay had issues, especially in the last 30 minutes, which looks off track.

Altogether, Tiku Weds Sheru is surely a one time watch movie and it has nothing more to excite rather than the good performances of Nawaz and Avneet.
Tiku Weds Sheru movie budget hasn’t been revealed yet but it could reportedly being around 14 to 15 crores maximum.
