After the grand success of The Princess Switch released in 2018, the makers has released the second movie in this series on Netflix. The Princess Switch 2 has released at around 1.30 pm as per Indian Standard Time and at around 3 am in USA on November 19, 2020. The screentime is around 1 hour 37 minutes.

The story of this film is about Vanessa Hudgens who essays dual roles of Margaret Delacourt (Dutchess Of Montenaro) and Stacy Denovo. One is a princess and other is a young baker in pastery shop. Interestingly, the two ladies switch their places as they look identical in the first film. Now in the second film, the story follows from where it ended on the first film. Again, the two ladies switch their places to their original ones. Well, there is another doppelganger Lady Fiona (Princess cousin) here who brings the twist in this film, which means there is triple role. What happens next will make you entertain and laugh.
This film also stars Sam Palladio, Nick Sagar, Alexa Adeosun, Sara Stewart, Suanne Braun and many more.
The Princess Switch 2 starts with a highlight of the first film, incase if you haven’t watched it. That means, you will know what is happening on the screen. This film has been directed by Mike Rohl and produced by Vanessa Hudgens, Brad Krevoy, Steven R McGlothen. The writing part of this movie has been done by Robin Bernheim and Megan Metzzer.
It’s a feel good film that is set around Christmas time. It is such a film that you would love to watch as it gives feel good vibe. This film is soft-romantic tale that can be watched along with your family. The whole and soul of this film is Vanessa Hudgens.
The budget of The Princess Switch 2 also known as The Princess Switch: Switched Again hasn’t been revealed by the makers. Still, by looking at the whole movie the budget would be reportedly over USD 15 million to 18 million.
The early reviews from critics are out now and they have rated this film in a range between 2 to 2.5 stars out of 5.
The story is interesting but there is nothing new served at the platter for the audience. Still, it’s a safe film for the makers for the masses. The screenplay is OK enough and there is hardly any dull moment in this film. The comedy aspect is quite less, still you can watch it.
Altogether, The Princess Switch 2 is a film that will make your holiday time worth.
