The story of this webseries has been based on one of the best selling Bicchoo Ka Khel novel written by Amit Khan. The webseries based on heartland of Uttar Pradesh, which is Banaras. Divyendu Sharma aka Akhil Srivastav life turns upside down when his mischievous father has been killed in police custody after being wrongly framed in a murder by political people. Will he able to take revenge of his father’s death is what the story follows.

Thestory seems a bit weak but the dialogues are worth applauding. One of the dialogue that I liked is like, ‘Kumbhkaran ke baad koi chiz dhang se soyi hai to wo hai meri kismat’ said by Divyendu during a court scene. Still, it’s a great effort from the makers to bring something new on the platter.

The webseries also stars Anshul Chauhan, Gagan Anand, Abhinav Anand, Syed Zeeshan Qadri, Akansha Thakur, Rajesh Sharma and many others.

Bicchoo Ka Khel story and screenplay has been written by Ghalib Asad Bhopali and Gibran Noorani. The dialogues has been written by Kshitij Roy. The cinematography has been done by Sunil Pillai. This webseries has been produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor. Ashish R Shukla is behind the direction of this webseries.

Divyendu, who debuted in Bollywood in 2011, as Liquid in Pyaar Ka Punchnama has come a long way in the entertainment industry. He got a big break with Mirzapur webseries season 1 released in 2018 where he essayed the role of Munna Bhaiya. Even, in this webseries Bicchoo Ka Khel, you will feel that you are watching an extended version of Munna Bhaiya from Mirzapur series.

The budget of Bicchoo Ka Khel hasn’t been revealed yet by the makers. By looking at the graph and scale of this season, it looks like the whole season has been made with a reported budget of over 7 to 8 crores easily.

So far, Bicchoo Ka Khel webseries holds a rating of 9.2 out of 10 stars on IMDB. Still, it’s an early rating and it can be defer as per the critics reviews and audience response. Film critics have rated Bicchoo Ka Khel in a range of 2.5 to 3 stars out of 5, which is good enough.

Altogether, there is good buzz around Bicchoo Ka Khel webseries, thanks to the buzz created by Munna Bhaiya character in Mirzapur. This webseries will definitely entertain you and it turn out to be hit for OTT platform. This webseries will also remind you Bollywood movies of 70s and 80s era.

Last word: Watch Bicchoo Ka Khel webseries just for the brilliant performance of Divyendu Sharma. Also watch it for its great dialogue writing and screenplay.

Bollywood Crazies Rating: Bicchoo Ka Khel Review: First Class (60 Percent out of 100).
