After a big hit The Tashkent Files (2019), director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is back with his new film The Kashmir Files which has officially being released in India on March 11, 2022.
Despite no big promotions and pure word of mouth, The Kashmir Files is winning the heart of the audience. This movie has got around 700 screens across India and got only limited shows in theaters. Even no mainstream media has promoted this film or even talked about it untill it’s release.
The Kashmir Files first day box office collection report is out now and it is around 3.25 to 3.50 crores nett. The second day, this film could easily cross 5 to 6 crores as the world of mouth is incredible and even shows of this film has been increased on day 2. This film is almost showing housefull board across India from North to South market. Whether it’s Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, this film ticket is selling like a hot cake. This film could easily cross 7 to 8 crores on day 3. That means, The Kashmir Files first weekend collections could be around 15 to 17 crores.
The positive word of mouth will bring more audience in the weekdays and the collections will flourish further. Till first week, The Kashmir Files could easily earned around 23 to 25 crores.
The Kashmir Files movie will easily run for over 1 months and could easily collect 48 to 50 crores in its lifetime. Not to forget that, films like Bachchan Pandey and RRR will release simultaneously on March 18 and March 25. These two films will upset the collections of The Kashmir Files in a big way. Despite all odds, The Kashmir Files will survive in theaters all because of its strong content.
